innovarte ensemble was founded in Zurich at the beginning of 2005 by Danica Anja Zeier and Gianluca Febo.

Gianluca Febo is the ensemble’s musical director.
The chamber orchestra consists of a core of 14 musicians from over 10 different countries. They are all either freelance musicians or permanent members of well-known ensembles like Kremerata Baltika, Gustav Mahler Orchestra, Festival Strings Lucerne, Zurich Opera House, Berliner Philharmoniker, Bayerisches Rundfunkorchester, etc.

Depending on the programme, innovarte ensemble may engage additional musicians from a pool of percussionists, string and wind players.
